Initially made for a friend who knows the city like no other, through walking in streets and courtyards unfamiliar and unknown. She thinks these pants provide you with the fortitude and the comfort needed to peer into the unknown. The pants are high-rise, have an elasticized waist with a drawstring and are tailored to last. Rendered in pure ivory-peachish silk charmeuse printed in red by an artisan using age-old wooden blocks, hand sewn specifically for you, these pants are pure art.
Designed to end at your ankles. Please drop us a note if you want them slightly shorter or longer. A pattern will be cut and the pants made for you once you order and submit your measurements.
FABRIC
Silk charmeuse woven from 100% Mulberry silk. The pants were made from fabric block-printed by artisans in their own workshop.
CONSTRUCTION
These pants were crafted entirely by hand, essentially as they were a hundred years ago, using nothing more than a sewing machine, some thread and a needle. If taken care of, these pants will last you a long time.
– The seams are flat-felled, meaning once sewn, turned over and sewn again to make them stronger.
– The pants have a drawstring to tie as well an elastic waist.

This fabric was spun into yarn by a small mill in Zhejiang province, historically known as the producers of some of the finest silks.

SHIPPING
All shipping is free. We use USPS as our main courier. Your order is delivered in roughly two weeks. We carefully fold our clothing down to create small packages that help reduce our carbon footprint and package our clothing without using any plastic. All the paper we use for wrapping and shipping can be recycled.
LIFETIME REPAIRS
Whenever your article of clothing needs some repair, mail it to us. We’ll mend it and send it back to you at no cost.
CIRCULAR LIFE
As all our clothes are made of natural fibers, whenever you feel your article of clothing has lived its useful life, send it back to us. Almost all parts of it can be upcycled.

BUYING OPTIONS

The first one allows you to give your body measurements.
The second one allows you to replicate the dimensions of an existing garment that you like or that fits well.
The third option allows you to design your own garment by matching a certain design with another fabric from our collection. You will be presented with the first and the second buying options after you design your garment to complete the order.
Small peculiarities, incongruent and seemingly imperfect details are a hallmark of hand crafted clothing.
