STRAIGHT PANTS IN UNDYED HANDLOOMED COTTON

These simple, straight-legged pants were cut from a beautiful, ivory colored, hand-woven, undyed and unbleached cotton. The fabric was woven on a handloom that used no electricity. The cuff of the pants is about 17 inches or 43 cm in circumference. The pants have side adjusters with buttons. We made these pants on the same principles as classic men’s pants, sturdy and enduring, all parts crafted and put together by hand. These pants were designed to end at the ankle. You can adjust the length when you choose a size or give your measurements. A pattern will be cut and the pants made for you once you order and submit your measurements.

• FABRIC

  100% pure cotton, undyed and unbleached. The weight is roughly 350-400 gr/m. This fabric was woven on a handloom that used no electricity.

• CONSTRUCTION

  These pants were crafted entirely by hand, essentially as they were a hundred years ago, using nothing more than a sewing machine, some thread and a needle. If taken care of, these pants will last you a long time.

  – The pants have side-adjusters on both sides.
  – All the parts of the pants are softly constructed by hand.
  – Reinforced inside crotch area with a replaceable patch.
  – Inside of the cuffs strengthened against fraying using a cotton strip.

• MILL

  This fabric was spun into yarn by a family of weavers and woven into this fabric on a hand-operated loom that uses no electricity. This family of weavers has been practicing its craft for generations. All around, a very good fabric for your well-being and for that of all involved. Woven in Punjab near Lahore.

• CARE

  For best results and a long life of the pants, please hand wash. Can be dry cleaned and machine washed. Hang to dry.
