TAPERED PANTS IN NAVY BLUE RAW SILK

A simple pair of pants, slightly tapered at the bottom. The fabric is all silk and has an abstract floral design on dark blue. The cuff of the pants is about 13 inches or 34 cm in circumference. These pants are light-weight and perfect for spring and summer. We made these pants on the same principles as classic men’s pants, sturdy and enduring, with all individual parts crafted and put together by hand. Designed to end about an inch or 2.5cm above your ankles. Please drop us a note if you want them slightly shorter or longer.
A pattern will be cut and the pants made for you once you order and submit your measurements.
FABRIC
Raw Silk woven from 100% Mulberry silk.
CONSTRUCTION
These pants were crafted entirely by hand, essentially as they were a hundred years ago, using nothing more than a sewing machine, some thread and a needle. If taken care of, these pants will last you a long time.
– The pants have side-adjusters on both sides.
– All the parts of the pants are softly constructed by hand.
– Reinforced inside crotch area with a replaceable patch.
– Half-lined to the knee with Cupro lining.
– Inside of the cuffs strengthened against fraying using a cotton strip.MILL
This fabric was spun into yarn by a small mill in Punjab province. Most silk produced on small scale in India and Pakistan is of this variety, usually woven in small, family owned mills.
CARE
For best results please dry clean. Can also be hand-washed using some soft soap and laying it down to dry.

All shipping is free. We use USPS as our main courier. We strive to deliver your order in roughly two weeks. Please bear in mind that ordering made-to-measure, hand-made clothing from a family-owned workshop is not the same as ordering a mass-produced item for quick delivery from a fulfillment facility.
We carefully fold our clothing down to create small packages that help reduce our carbon footprint. Our packaging does not use any plastic. This helps reduce waste and keep our prices low. All the paper we use for wrapping and shipping can be recycled.
To help us reduce waste and environmental harm without reducing your enjoyment of your purchase, please be sure to iron or steam each piece back into shape when you receive it in the mail.LIFETIME REPAIRS
Whenever your article of clothing needs some repair, mail it to us. We’ll mend it and send it back to you at no cost.
CIRCULAR LIFE
As all our clothes are made of natural fibers, whenever you feel your article of clothing has lived its useful life, send it back to us. Almost all parts of it can be upcycled.

BUYING OPTIONS
Please choose one of the following three buying options.
The first one allows you to give your body measurements.
The second one allows you to replicate the dimensions of an existing garment that you like or that fits well.
The third option allows you to design your own garment by matching a certain design with another fabric from our collection. You will be presented with the first and the second buying options after you design your garment to complete the order.
Small peculiarities, incongruent and seemingly imperfect details are a hallmark of hand crafted clothing.
